Presentation

Large and painless testicular mass

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

MDCT reveals a huge retroperitoneal mass in right para renal space and extension to right iliac fossa with heterogenous density and focal area of necrosis which causes compression of IVC and right renal vein and ureter and subsequent hydronephrosis. There is also encasement of aorta, SMA, right renal and common iliac artery and another focus of lymphadenopathy in para aorta and retro crural space. There is evidence of right orchiectomy as well.

A single slice from the earliest CT (before orchiectomy) shows a large heterogeneous mass in the right scrotum.
