A huge mediastinal mass with heterogeneous enhancement encases the vascular structures of the upper mediastinum. Mild adjacent lung parenchymal collapse is also evident.
Ring artefacts are observed in the central part of images.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates a pathology-proven mediastinal Hodgkin's lymphoma - nodular sclerosing subtype in a young patient.
The images are degraded by ring artefact due to detector failure.
