Mature cystic teratoma of ovary

Presentation

Abdominal pain, no vomitting.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

Large pelvic mass with a fat fluid level, multiple calcific foci within and no internal enhancement. The right ovary is seen separately. Minimal ureteric compression is seen on both sides - causing mild hydronephrosis.

Case Discussion

CT is done after the abdominal sonography depicting a large mass with fat fluid level. CT features are consistent with mature cystic teratoma of left ovary - pathology proven.
