Patient Data

Age: Adult
Gender: Female
mammography

Screening mammogram shows well-defined skin lesions.

Case Discussion

Verrucae of the right breast. The lesions are well defined with air visible in the fonds of the verrucae. Skin lesions may be complicated by ointments applied by the patients.

Skin lesions often have air surrounding them and are comparable with the appearance of a nipple on a CXR.

Another tip: look at your tech sheet. The skin lesions are on there.
