Post meal abdominal discomfort for last several days

Age: 55 yrs
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Head and uncinate process of pancreas shows normal echopattern - size.

Body and tail of pancreas could not be localized.

Case Discussion

Ultrasound findings favoring absence of pancreatic body and tail.

CT scan was done next. Findings were confirmed.
