The lunate bone appears collapsed and sclerotic with predominately low signal intensities in all pulse sequences. There is negative ulnar variance in the scanned position.
Case Discussion
Features are consistent of Kienböck disease ( avascular necrosis of the lunate bone). There is negative ulnar variance which is commonly associated with this condition.
