Retinoblastoma

Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Family history of retinoblastoma. Previously treated small retinal lesion. New lesion.

Patient Data

Age: 2 months
Gender: Male
mri

On the nasal portion of the left retinal is a 3 mm soft tissue mass that enhances (and restricts on DWI - not uploaded). It is consistent with a retinoblastoma.

No local invasion.  No other lesions.  Normal vitreous.

This child has a retinoblastoma, that on this imaging appears simple and uncomplicated.
