What is the most common metastasis sites for HCC?
The most frequently involved sites are the lung, adrenal glands, lymph nodes, and bone.
Contrast enhanced CT scan shows a large round well defined mass in the left lobe of the liver which is relatively hypodense and shows mild heterogenous enhancement. There is also a large lytic destructive lesion associated with soft tissue component in the posterior arch of the left 4th rib, indicating a bony metastasis of the HCC.
