Severe renal colic. A patient known to have right renal staghorn calculus, underwent ESWL.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Multiple right renal calculi are noted, with multiple small calculi aligned in the lower right ureter.

Case Discussion

Steinstrasse (German for 'stone street'), refers to multiple small ureteric stones, seen aligned in the right ureter, that occur as a complication of ESWL.
