Diagnosis probable

Presentation

A young girl presented with progressively increasing unilateral swelling with deformity and bowing of left leg.

Patient Data

Age: 14 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Patients undergone radiographs left leg AP and lateral projections

There is large expansile lesion involving proximal -mid  tibial shaft  with ground glass matrix and bowing of tibia.

Case Discussion

Radiograph findings are compatible with diagnosis of fibrous dysplasia.

Fibrous dysplasia is a benign condition seen in young age causing bony remodeling, bowing with ground glass matrix and cystic changes.
