What is the differential diagnosis of a ring enhancement lesion in a patient with HIV infection?
Primary CNS lymphoma, cerebral toxoplasmosis, and cerebral abscess.
MRI evidences multiple lesions compromising the left basal ganglia and corticomedullary junction. These lesions appear with surrounding perilesional oedema and ring enhancement after intravenous contrast administration.
