Large volume ascites again demonstrated. The liver is small with a nodular surface in keeping with cirrhosis. Periesophageal varices noted.
The kidneys and adrenals are normal. There is subcapsular calcification in the lateral aspect of the spleen, and splenomegaly. The small bowel has edematous walls that enhance normally. This is most likely due to the degree of ascites / portal hypertension. There is right basal plate atelectasis.
