Traumatic renal and splenic injury

Presentation

Blunt trauma to the left side of the abdomen.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male
  • Splenic laceration, peri-splenic and left peri-nephric hematoma with hemoperitoneum are noted. On renal excretory phase, there is mild irregularity at left renal pelvis and UPJ with tiny extravasation of contrast in keeping with a left renal collecting system injury.
