Case Discussion

A split uterine cavity on HSG may represent either a bicornuate uterus or a septate/subseptate uterus. The important distinction is the shape of the uterine fundus, which often cannot be seen with HSG and ultrasound would be needed to differentiate the two if an intervention is planned.
