Presentation
Right lower abdominal pain - 2 days.
Patient Data
In region of maximal tenderness ( right lumbar / iliac fossa region ), there is an ovoid, noncompressible, hyperechoic mass, without significant internal vascularity.
Size of lesion is 30 x 22 x 10 mm. Internal hypoechoic rim like area is noted.
Lesion abutts anterior abdominal wall near junction of rectus abdominis and oblique muscle.
Lesion does not move significantly with inspiration.
It is seperate from small / large bowel loops.
APPENDIX could not be localized.
Cecum and Terminal ilium are normal.
Case Discussion
If lesion closer to the bowel, possiblity of epiploic appendagitis should also be considered.
