Presentation

Solitary left kidney and history of recurrent urinary tract infections.

Patient Data

Age: 4 years
Gender: Female
Fluoroscopy

Reflux into a mildly dilated left ureter and into a dilated renal pelvis, with enlargement and blunting of the calyces.

Case Discussion

This is a case of Grade IV vesicoureteric reflux.  It is of particular importance in this child with a single functioning kidney.
