Dizziness and off balance. CT the preceeding day reported as normal.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
mri

Large high T2, low T1, avid diffusion restriction abnormality in the left hemi-pons, in keeping with an acute pontine infarction.

No hemorrhagic component.

Normal basilar artery.
