What is the prognosis of a non-seminomatous germ cell tumour?
The prognosis of non-seminomatous germ cell tumours is variable and depends on the biological behaviour of individual tumours. Prognosis can be inferred from tumour markers, location of the primary tumour and of course presence of metastases.
Mediastinal soft tissue density mass lesion. The lesion does not enhance and has a hypodense core. The adjacent lungs demonstrate some compressive atelectasis.
