Axial bone window
The tumour was treated percutaneously by laser photocoagulation. Axial CT images show an 18G needle used as a co-axial system to insert the soft laser optical fibre. Note the positioning of the active tip of the optic fibre at the centre of the nidus. 2 watts were applied for 10 minutes.
