Bilateral scalp swelling following vacuum delivery at the hospital.

Patient Data

Age: Neonate
Gender: Female

Bilateral symmetrical extracranial parietooccipital hematomas not crossing the sutures, consistent with cephalohematomas.

In addition, there are bilateral parieto-occipital subdural hemorrhages.

Incidental finding of intrasutural bones.

Bilateral cephalohematomas separated by sutures.

Case Discussion

Typical appearance of bilateral cephalohematoma in coronal CT reconstructive images looks like classic bra appearance, because cephalohematoma is limited by sutures.
