Dermatofibrosarcoma of the intergluteal cleft

Discussion:

The typical appearance is that of an unmineralized, polypoidal soft-tissue mass involving the skin and subcutaneous adipose tissue. The large sizable intergluteal mass appears polypoidal and fleshy by examination and shows superficial ulceration. After surgical excision and histopathological examination that proved to be dermatofibrosarcoma which is a rare tumor.
