Bladder rhabdomyosarcoma

Presentation

3 month history of abdominal discomfort and distension. Recent history of haematruria.

Patient Data

Gender: Female
mri

There is a large heterogeneous mass arising from the bladder wall that is T2 hyperintense with heterogeneous contrast enhancement and no areas of fat supression. Features are most in keeping with a bladder rhabdomyosarcoma.

Case Discussion

The large mass arising from the bladder wall was biopsied at cystoscopy and was confirmed to be a bladder rhabdomyosarcoma
