Case contributed by Ian Bickle
Diagnosis certain

Presentation

Mass in the kidney on imaging for which a nephrectomy was performed.

Large multi-cystic mass in the lower pole of the kidney, involving the cortex, extending to the renal sinus fat.

Case Discussion

Note the cystic nature of this renal tumor. On gross appearance alone, it is impossible to distinguish this example of cystic RCC from other cystic lesions such as multilocular cyst.
