Presentation

Sporting accident to right wrist.

Patient Data

Age: 23
Gender: Male

There is a fracture of the distal radius with buckling of the dorsal cortex, as well as minimal dorsal angulation at the radial articular surface.

There is no significant displacement.

The fracture does not extend to the articulatar surface.

Soft tissue swelling over lying the volar aspect of the wrist, in keeping with 'pronator sign'.
