Presentation

Right pelvic pain and disturbed menstrual cycle

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

Right adnexal multilocular cystic lesion, hypointense on T1 and hyperintense on T2 and STIR, enhancement of the septa on post contrast study yet no solid component. The junctional zone was thickened in some area reaching 13 mm in thickness representing adenomyosis and there is a rounded small lesion at the right parauterine region iso signal to the uterus on T1 and shows central bright signal on T2 likely subserous fibroid with central degeneration..

Case Discussion

Pathology revealed ovarian mucinous cystadenoma which is benign ovarian tumor that has good prognosis.
