Patient Data
Two broad based bony exostoses are seen projecting from the anterior, posterior inferior walls of the right external auditory canal, the largest along its anterior wall measures 1 cm in transverse diameter, they significantly encroach upon the auditory canal lumen.
Two much smaller bony exostoses project from the posterior wall of the left external auditory canal.
Soft tissue densities are plugging both external auditory canals and also encroaching upon their lumens.
Partial opacification and sclerosis of the left mastoid air cells (impressive of chronic mastoiditis).

Case Discussion
Exostosis are usually bilateral, multiple and broad based.
Osteomas are usually unilateral, solitary and pedunculated.
