Presentation

Persistent headaches for several months and an irritating intraoral sensation.

Patient Data

Age: 10
Gender: Female

Centered on the right middle cranial fossa is a bilobed mass lesion that diffusion restricts and enhances avidly. It appears to arise in the soft tissues of the pharynx posteriorly and traverse the base of skull, ultimately invading the right temporal lobe inferiorly.

Case Discussion

Biopsy performed confirmed the diagnoses as an embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. Chemotherapy was administered and a surgical resection performed.
