Liver laceration due to knife stabbing

Presentation

Stabbed in the line of duty.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Pathway of knife injury is seen extending from near the midline just below the costal margin / sternum into left lobe of liver. Large associated upper abdominal haemorperitoneum but no active contrast extravasation seen.
