Gender: Female
x-ray

In acute medical situations not all personal accessories are removed before x-rays are undertaken.

Case Discussion

Any personal accessories, such as jewelry, not removed may leave an artifact on radiographs.

On occasion it may obscure pathology to the detriment of patient care.
