Presentation

Non-specific disequilibrium with abnormal sensation in left side of head. No vertigo.

Patient Data

Gender: Female

Left CPA lesion

Left cerebellopontine angle mass which is high signal on T2 and low signal on T1 (isointense to CSF) and demonstrates restricted diffusion on DWI. High resolution CISS images show cranial nerves going through the lesion

Case Discussion

Intracranial epidermoid cysts are relatively common congenital lesions which account for about 1% of all intracranial tumors.
