Teenager complaining of left groin pain. Keen footballer.

Patient Data

Age: 14
Gender: Male

Avulsion of the left ischial tuberority.

Discontinuity of the cortex and different in appearance to the normal right side.

Case Discussion

Avulsion injuries are more common in children - several occur around in the pelvis.

Avulsion of the ischial tuberosity are particularly common in active footballers.
