At what age do the femoral capital epiphyses normally ossify?
Normally it ossifies after 6 months age.
H: Hilgenreiner’s line
P: Perkin’s line
Both femoral heads are in the superolateral quadrant.
There is severe dysplasia of the acetabula with marked increased in acetabular angles. Also note lack of ossification of the femoral capital epiphyses which is clearly abnormal for his age.
