Colonoscopy confirmed a primary sigmoid cancer.

Peritoneal metastatic disease is usually caused but GIT adenocarcinoma such as from the bowel, stomach or pancreas. In a female, ovarian adenocarcinoma is also in the DDx. If the appendix is abnormal, consider mucinous appendiceal tumors.
