Presentation

History of urinary bladder injury during Cesarean section. The patient complains of frank hematuria during menstruation (menouria), with urine leakage from vagina.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

There is a well-defined defect in the lower anterior uterine body and posterior urinary bladder wall in the area of the prior Cesarean section. This is compatible with an acquired vesico-uterine fistula.
