Patient Data
Age: 60
Gender: Male
From the case:
Traumatic nasogastric tube insertion

Initial radiograph demonstrates malpositioned NGT - right main bronchus, right lower zone laterally outside the field of view.

Subsequent radiograph demonstrates satisfactory NGT within stomach, however a right sided pneumothorax has developed (the pneumothorax is visible on supine projection [right upper zone lung-air interface]; a deep sulcus sign is also suggested).

CT confirms a moderately large right pneumothorax. No pneumomediastinum.
