Bilateral trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis, however more prominent on the left: loss of joint space, subchondral sclerosis and mild osteophytosis. There is also a bone simple cyst in the medium phalanx of the fifth left finger.
Case Discussion
The trapeziometacarpal joint is the most common site of osteoarthritis in the hand after interphalangeal joints.
