Greenstick fracture - radial shaft

FOOSH.

Patient Data

Age: 7 years
Gender: Male

There is a greenstick fracture of the distal diaphysis of the right radius with 19 degrees of ventral angulation of the distal fracture fragment. Normal bone density. No elbow joint effusion. Radial head is enlocated.

Case Discussion

Greenstick fractures are a type of incomplete fracture. They tend to have quicker healing than complete fracture.
