A small-sized anterior pituitary gland with absence of the pituitary stalk is evident, along with a mal-positioned posterior pituitary gland to the level of median eminence.
Case Discussion
A triad of a thin or interrupted pituitary stalk, aplasia or hypoplasia of the anterior pituitary and absent or ectopic posterior pituitary are characteristics of pituitary stalk interruption syndrome.
