On the preliminary images there are two small calcifications projecting over the left renal shadow. The bladder is enlarged and trabeculated. The posterior urethra is markedly dilated with a possible shelf seen at the transition to non-dilated anterior urethra. No vesicoureteric reflux was seen.
Case Discussion
These findings are consistent with posterior urethral valve (a.k.a. posterior obstructive congenital urethral membrane - POCUM).
