This young male has progressive neurological disturbance.

A midbrain cavernoma with a second smaller lesion in the right cerebral peduncle is present. No evidence of acute hemorrhage or edema. Note the posterior fossa arachnoid cyst.
The patient had repeated symptomatic episodes and an attempted resection was carried out.
Postoperative change and a shunt has been introduced. The midbrain lesion has substantially grown extending into the left thalamus. No hydrocephalus.
