What are the differential diagnosis?
Ganglioglioma; pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma (PXA); pilocytic astrocytoma; dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumour (DNET).
Non-contrast axial brain CT scan shows a cystic lesion in the right temporal lobe. Hyperdense areas are seen in the tumour periphery that may be due to haemorrhage or a solid component.
