Hydrocele of the canal of Nuck

Discussion:

The canal of Nuck is a pouch of parietal peritoneum extending to the labium majus and is a structural analog of the processus vaginalis in males. Although it usually disappears in the first week of life, it may on rare occasions remain patent and give rise to a hydrocele of the canal of Nuck or even an indirect inguinal hernia
