A well defined extra-axial lesion is noted at the left parietal region showing hypointensity in T1WI and hyperintensity in T2WI. It shows dirty hypointense signal on FLAIR and diffusion restriction. Mild mass effect is noted as compression of the underlying brain parenchyma. No appreciable enhancement noted.

Case Discussion

Intracranial convexity epidermoid cyst is most likely supported by the heterogeneous signal in FLAIR and diffusion restriction of an extra-axial lesion. Cerebral convexity is a rare location for epidermoid cyst, being the CPA the most common intracranial location.
