In this case, what should be the clinical/surgical management?
This is a benign (WHO grade I) tumour and should be managed conservatively.
Selected Brain MRI images demonstrating a solid non-obstructive mass on the floor of the inferior portion of the fourth ventricle. This lesion expresses low T1 and high T2 and FLAIR signals, no diffusion restriction, and no contrast enhancement. The Magendie foramen and the lateral apertures are still patent. No hydrocephalus. The remainder brain is unremarkable in appearance.
