There is an abnormal right hilar opacity associated with right middle lobe collapse.

There is a soft tissue lesion at the right hilum with possible invasion of the left atrium or alternatively the left atrium lesion could represent a bland thrombus. The right middle lobe is collapsed as there is obstruction of the right middle lobe. The collapsed right middle lobe demonstrates multiple calcified densities. There are as well multiple calcified densities of the other lobes of both lungs, this could be related to occupational exposure or previous infection.

Case Discussion

Pathology: Adenocarcinoma with invasion of the right inferior pulmonary vein. No malignancy in the right atrium or pericardium.
