ct

A homogenous left orbital soft tissue mass, isodense to the extraocular muscles, with mild proptosis and medial deviation of the orbit and optic nerve.

mri

The mass is slightly hypointense to extraocular muscles on T1 and slightly hyperintense on T2, the mass effect is similar as of that on the CT but on MRI, one can identify the lateral rectus muscle which is pushed inferiorly. There is homogenous enhancement post-Gd administration.

Case Discussion

These appearences are not unique to orbital lymphoma. Other diagnoses to consider mainly include inflammatory orbital pseudotumor and lacrimal gland tumors

The histopathology result which was provided by the patent's relative helped differentiate between those and proved lymphoma.
