Extensive leptomeningeal enhancement is evident from the base of skull to the cauda equina, especially superiorly where nodular contrast enhancing tissue surrounds the medulla and contents of the posterior fossa (better seen on the recent MRI of the brain) and dorsal to the upper thoracic cord. No compression and no syrinx.
