There are fibrocalcific plaques within the dorsal surface of the penis involving the tunica albugenia. An additional dense calcific focus is seen in the right tunica albuginea. The penile septum is not involved.
Arterial flow to the penis is normal.
Case Discussion
Fibrocalcific plaques of the tunica albuginea are compatible with Peyronie disease.
Calcifications that involve the penile arterial supply (not present in this case) are usually related to arteriolosclerosis (often from diabetes and/or renal insufficiency). This is a different entity to Peyronie disease.
