A heterogeneous exophytic cortical mass fungating from the lower pole of the left kidney, predominantly of fat density, with areas of soft tissue component and prominent vascularity within. No evidence of retroperitoneal or peri-renal hematoma.
Case Discussion
The finding of macroscopic fat within a solid renal mass is virtually diagnostic of a renal angiomyolipoma.
Other incidental findings, in this case, are a liver cyst and another right renal cortical cyst. Also, there is a left adrenal incidentaloma.
