Displaced comminuted fracture is present at the midshaft of the tibia. A displaced butterfly fragment is seen.
There is transverse fracture at the proximal fibular diaphysis with anterior angulation of the distal fracture component.
Fracture of the lateral tibial plateau with depressed / displaced component is demonstrated (Schatzker II).
Case Discussion
This is a case of tibial and fibular fractures secondary to vehicular accident.
